Who We Are

About MAG HR Solutions: A True HR Business Partner for Southwest Florida

A bilingual HR consulting firm led by certified HR leadership with more than twenty years in the room where the hard people decisions get made

We built MAG HR Solutions because good HR is the difference between a company that grows cleanly and one that spends years cleaning up what it did not know was broken. We are led by a certified HR business partner who has guided organizations through mergers, acquisitions, high-growth stretches, and startups, and built HR departments from the ground up for companies with more than two hundred employees. That is the experience behind every engagement we take on, offered to Southwest Florida businesses without the cost of a full-time executive hire, in English and Spanish.

Our Why

Why We Started MAG HR Solutions

The demand that would not go away

After more than twenty years leading human resources inside corporate, manufacturing, warehouse distribution, and nonprofit organizations, Michele built a reputation for the work very few HR leaders are trusted to do: steering companies through mergers and acquisitions, starting up HR departments where none existed, and getting teams through the hardest stretches. Along the way, the same thing kept happening. Leaders she worked with, and leaders who had only heard of her, kept asking her to help their companies on the side. The demand was real, and it was personal, because people wanted her specifically.

The mission

MAG HR Solutions is the answer to that demand. Rather than give her expertise to a single employer, Michele founded MAG HR Solutions to bring it to many companies at once: the growing businesses, the first-time HR builders, and the leaders navigating a merger or an exit who need a seasoned partner in the room. The mission is simple. Align each company's business strategy with its people strategy, and give business owners the confidence that HR is handled correctly. Mark, her co-founder, built the front door to that mission, so the right companies find their way in.

As President of Business Development, Mark is our first point of contact for prospective clients, acting as an HR liaison who connects them to the right solution. The Proof

The Credentials and Experience Behind Every Engagement

Credentials matter here for a specific reason. The leaders we serve lose sleep over one thing above all: an HR resource who does not truly know the laws and quietly puts the company out of compliance, the kind of damage a CEO cannot see until it gets expensive. The proof against that fear is below, plainly stated.

A credential stack that stays current

Michele holds four HR credentials, and each one means something specific. CPC is Certified Personnel Consultant. PHR is Professional in Human Resources. SHRM-CP is the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional designation. PMQ is the People Manager Qualification. On top of the certifications, she has access to the Society for Human Resource Management knowledge base, which keeps her current on employment law across every state, not just Florida, and the certifications are maintained through ongoing continuing education. For companies with Spanish-speaking teams, her minor in Spanish is not a line on a resume, it is a working part of the service.

Mergers and acquisitions experience

Few independent HR consultants have guided five organizations through mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of a multi-billion-dollar manufacturer, Solo Cup, by Dart Corporation. Integrating people, policies, and culture when two organizations become one is high-stakes, high-trust work, and it is exactly the moment a growing company most needs someone who has done it before. References from that work are available on request.

Building HR departments, not just fixing them

Plenty of consultants will put out the fire in front of them. Michele builds the function. For established companies that had run for years without a real HR department, she has come in, built the department, set the processes, and then helped hire and train the permanent HR manager before stepping out, including for a Florida company with more than two hundred employees. She also helped build and scale the HR function for a telehealth startup that was later sold to a larger organization. At both ends of the size range the outcome is the same: a working HR function that keeps paying off after the engagement ends.

Bilingual by Design

Fully Bilingual HR Support, Se Habla Español

Why bilingual matters for the Southwest Florida workforce

Across construction, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, and beyond, a large share of the Southwest Florida workforce speaks Spanish, and no analyzed local HR firm markets bilingual service. That gap matters. A handbook, an investigation, or a benefits conversation only works if the employee on the other side of it actually understands what is being said. We deliver HR in English and Spanish, so the Spanish-speaking employees and the leaders who manage them get the same level of support.

How it shows up in the work

Bilingual capability here is not a translated PDF bolted on at the end. It shapes how policies get written, how investigations get handled, and how employees experience an HR process, from onboarding through the difficult conversations. For an employer with a Spanish-speaking team, that is the difference between a policy that technically exists and one that people follow because they understood it.

What We Stand For

What We Stand For

Values are easy to list and harder to hold when a client would rather you bend one. These are the ones we do not bend.

Ethics and compliance first

HR done by the book, full stop. We protect clients by keeping them compliant and audit-ready, and we will not cross a legal or ethical line, which sometimes means telling a client the answer they did not want. That is the value of the answer.

Partnership, trust, and confidentiality

We work alongside your leadership, not beneath it, sharing in the company's goals rather than waiting for instructions. Our counsel is confidential and balanced, offered to both management and employees, and it is the kind of trust that gets earned over two decades and lost in a single careless moment, so we never treat it carelessly.

Flexibility and inclusion

We scope every engagement to your size, stage, and budget rather than forcing it into a rigid tier, which suits growing companies whose needs keep changing. And our service is bilingual and culturally aware by design, so it welcomes the diverse and Spanish-speaking workforces that make up so much of this region.

What Leaders Say About Working With Michele

A trusted professional who raised HR to a world-class level

I have had the pleasure of knowing Michele for the past three years. In 2009 I introduced her to one of my clients that needed an HR manager at a time when they were going through a major expansion. They needed someone who could come in to the organization and raise their human resources department to a world class level, just like the rest of their business. Michele is a true professional in every sense of the word. I would highly recommend Michele for any human resources related position.

A rare, dynamic skill across Fortune 500 companies

Michele is a detail-oriented strategist capable of the most humanistic feats with regards to defining and controlling vulnerabilities. In the years I was fortunate enough to work alongside Ms. Gissibl it was a pleasure watching her integrate regimen into standard practice so that, now interwoven, it is both palatable and effective. I have been blessed also to work with many HR professionals spanning a vast array of Fortune 500 food companies. During that 24+ years I can only think of one other possessing those dynamic skills and being able to capitalize on them.

One of the best leaders I have ever worked with

I was lucky to have Michele as my manager at Universal Language Service, Inc. and I can honestly say she is one of the best leaders I have ever worked with. She has this rare mix of professionalism and kindness that makes people feel both supported and inspired. What I appreciated most about Michele was how approachable she always was, whether it was for advice, encouragement, or just a quick chat. She truly cares about people, and it shows in the way she leads and the positive environment she creates. I learned so much from her, both professionally and personally, and I will always be grateful for her mentorship. Any team would be lucky to have her as their HR leader.

Questions

Common Questions About MAG HR Solutions

Who is behind MAG HR Solutions?
We are led by Michele Gissibl, a bilingual, certified HR business partner (CPC, PHR, SHRM-CP, PMQ) with more than twenty years of HR leadership, and co-founded by Mark Gissibl, who runs business development and handles the first conversation. Michele delivers the HR work; Mark makes the introductions.
What credentials does our HR leadership hold?
Michele holds four HR credentials, CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant), PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional), and PMQ (People Manager Qualification), along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. She keeps current on multi-state employment law through the Society for Human Resource Management knowledge base and ongoing continuing education.
What makes MAG HR Solutions different from other HR firms?
Three things stand out: genuinely bilingual English and Spanish service, which almost no local firm markets; mergers and acquisitions experience that includes five integrations; and a build-it approach that leaves you with a working HR function rather than a patched one. It is senior, credentialed HR leadership customized to your stage, not a paperwork vendor and not a faceless national platform.
What company sizes and industries does MAG HR Solutions serve?
The best fit is a growing company between roughly 51 and 200 employees, where HR has outgrown the office manager but a full in-house department is not yet right, and we also welcome startups and small offices from 1 to 50 employees that want to set HR up correctly the first time. Our experience spans corporate, manufacturing, healthcare, warehouse logistics, and nonprofit organizations.
Is MAG HR Solutions a law firm, or does it provide legal advice?
No. We provide HR consulting, not legal representation. We help you stay compliant and audit-ready, and for matters that require legal counsel, we work alongside employment law professionals rather than offering legal advice directly.
Does MAG HR Solutions offer bilingual HR support?
Yes. Every service is available in English and Spanish, which matters for the Spanish-speaking workforces across Southwest Florida. Se Habla Español.
